About Kimberly Curtis

I have been a photographer for over 18 years. I specialize in wedding and outdoor portraiture. I have lived and worked in Maui since 1998. I am originally from Santa Cruz, California and have lived and worked several years in the San Francisco area as well as Chico, California. Besides weddings and portraits I also photograph landscapes and golf tournaments. I am available to travel to all islands and often travel to the mainland for weddings.

My Philosophy on Portrait Photography

We are Barefoot, outdoors, having a fun, playful time at the beach. We capture those silly and loving moments. I have such a good time bringing my casual style to the session. My clients, who many have become life-long friends, are so often amazed with the beautiful portraits I have captured, when it seemed as though capturing that moment was impossible. I love to get down in the sand, and will get wet in the ocean waves or what ever it takes to make the laughter happen. I don't just photograph your family or wedding, we have a fun time! One other thing...We never say cheese! I want that natural look. If there isn't a smile in every photo, that's o.k. My Philosophy on Wedding Photography

I believe that wedding portraits should go far beyond merely documenting the day's events. I will create a unique collection of wedding memories featuring all of the elegance, romance, joy and fun of the wedding day.

I personally assist in the pre-planning of the bride and groom's wedding day, to insure their day is the way they dream it will be...

More than any other wedding service, the wedding photographer will be the one person working closest with the bride, groom, family, and guests. This should be an enjoyable occasion for them. In order to create beautiful portraits, with warm genuine expressions, the photographer must have outstanding people skills as well as a fun and friendly personality blended with professionalism.

I enjoy my work and I believe it is portrayed in not just the quality of my work but also the appreciation expressed from the couples and families I photograph.

Finally, a last note: I am always available both before and after the portrait session for any questions or concerns.

My desire is simply to assist in creating Wonderful Memories to Last a Lifetime!
